Enhanced Tablet Driver for Tablet PCs

Expand the capabilities of your tablet computer with the enhanced tablet driver for systems that use Wacom Feel IT® technology! Please check with the manufacturer of your specific tablet model to confirm that it was built using Wacom Penabled technology. Installing this driver will ensure that the same advanced pressure-sensitive features enjoyed by Wacom pen tablet users will also be fully supported on your Penabled system.

IMPORTANT

  • Check with the manufacturer of your tablet model to confirm that it uses Wacom Penabled technology before installing this driver.
  • This driver is not required to use the Inking capability of a tablet computer.
  • Review and accept the License agreement in the installer.
  • This driver is distributed by Wacom as a download free and AS IS to users who own a Penabled tablet PC, and it is not available on a CD or on any other media.
Installing the driver
  1. If you are upgrading from a previous Wacom driver, uninstall it first for best results.
  2. Click on the Download link and save the file to your computer.
  3. Double-click on the file and follow the prompts.
Resolved Issues
  • Fixed an issue where older Serial Bus tablet drivers were not recognized by the driver.
  • Added support for newly-released tablets.
Known Issues
Windows 10
  • When you assign Pan/Scroll to the side switch and touch the pen to the tablet, moving up and down with the pen on the tablet and the side switch depressed will result in a zoom in and out. Moving left or right with the pen on the tablet and the side switch depressed will cause the canvas to shoot off the screen.
  • When 'QuickNote from the Lock screen' is checked on applicable control panels, the application does not launch on the lock screen.
Windows 8
  • If the side switch is set to open OneNote from the drop down menu and you press the side switch, the application does not open.
  • What you can do about it: Choose open/run on the side switch options then choose OneNote from drop down list.
Windows 7
  • In 'Radial Menu' tab the defaults assigned to www and email no longer opens the application.
  • What you can do about it: In the Radial Menu tab, select Function, and select the application you want to open.

  • Open the Start menu, and select Wacom Pen.
Windows 8 and Windows 8.1:
  • Open the Start screen, and go to Desktop > Engage the Windows Charm Bar.
  • Select Settings.
  • Select Control Panel.
  • Select Hardware and Sound.
  • Select Wacom Pen.
Windows 7 or earlier:
  • Open the Start menu, and select Control Panel.
  • Select Hardware and Sound.
  • Select Wacom Pen.
